"Parowa"

The ecological area of 4 ha, created on 31.07.2001, located in the municipality of Gniew, in the village of Ciepłe; owned by the State Treasury and remaining in the hands of AWRSP in Gdansk and Agricultural Holding MADROL sp. z o.o.; the area includes:

• trees and shrubs (hawthorn, wild apple, plum, maple, elm, white willow, stranded willow, gray willow, white poplar, birch, hazel, hornbeam, elder, ash, alder);

• reptiles (grass snake, sand lizard);

• mammals of the type of Rana and Bufo;

• mammals (mole, hare, squirrel, pine marten, fox, deer);

• birds (breeding species: turtle dove, crested, cuckoo, whipper-in, whitethroat, lesser whitethroat, warbler, willow warbler, primrose, pied flycatcher, robin, thrush nightingale, blackbird, song thrush, tit, blue tit, blackface tit, wren, bunting, chaffinch, bullfinch, rosefinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, magpie, and feeding species: sparrow hawk, hawk, woodpecker, redwing, long-tailed tit, forest creeper).
